IntroducctionThis is a project for Sweetwater's Web Publishing course about endangered species. My instructor, Mr. Lopez, provided the class a list of some endangered animals from around the world. I had to choose the an endangered animal for the Web site I am going to create. The endangered animal I chose the Lion. I selected this animal because the lion is "the king of the jungle", one of the biggest cats on earth, a symbol of power, strength, and loyalty. The Lion, nicknamed "King of the Jungle", possess beauty and strength. Lions vary in color but they are usually a yellow-brown color. Adult male Lions are unique due to their thick brown or black manes that goes around their necks and protects them when they are fighting. Male Lions weigh from 300 to 500 lbs, they can grow to be 4 feet tall, and 5 to 8 feet long. Their top speed is 50 mph for short distances, and they can live up to 14 years. |
